Privacy Policy

Short version: Templifier stores everything locally in your browser. We do not collect, store, or share your personal data, API keys, or Etsy shop information on any server we control.

1. Who We Are

Templifier ("we", "our", "the tool") is a web-based tool for Etsy sellers to create digital product templates, generate SEO-optimised listings, and analyse market data. Accessible at https://templifier.com.

2. Data We Collect

Templifier does not collect or transmit personal data to our servers. The only information processed is:

API keys you enter (Etsy, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Unsplash) — stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device except in direct API calls you initiate to the respective API providers.
Etsy shop data — retrieved from the Etsy API using your key at your request. Stored locally in your browser only.
Generated content and templates — stored in your browser's localStorage and/or downloaded as files to your device. Not uploaded anywhere.
Usage preferences — settings such as colour schemes, font preferences, and feature toggles. Stored locally only.

3. API Calls to Third-Party Services

When you use AI or Etsy features, the tool makes API calls directly from your browser to:

Etsy API (openapi.etsy.com) — to retrieve public listing and market data using your Etsy API key.
Anthropic API (api.anthropic.com) — to generate listing copy and AI enhancements using your Claude API key.
Google Gemini API (generativelanguage.googleapis.com) — alternative AI provider, used only if you enter a Gemini key.
Unsplash API (api.unsplash.com) — for stock imagery, if enabled.

If you configure a self-hosted Cloudflare Worker proxy URL in Settings, requests route through that proxy — which is entirely under your control. We have no access to it.

4. Cookies

Templifier does not use cookies. The tool uses browser localStorage only to persist your settings and work between sessions.

5. Analytics and Tracking

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party analytics or advertising tracking. No tracking scripts run on this site.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. We have no access to your API keys, Etsy shop data, or generated content.

7. Data Security

Because all data is stored locally in your browser, you control its security. We recommend not using shared or public computers to access Templifier, and revoking API keys you no longer use via the respective provider's dashboard.

8. Children's Privacy

Templifier is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects any changes. Continued use of Templifier after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
